Panda Security has released a free application that you can use to disable AutoRun functionality on your Windows OS powered computer.

This application can be used the disable the functionality on all the drives or to particular drives.

AutoRun is one of the most common source of spread of worms on computers today.

A user connects a USB drive to a computer and the worm uses the AutoRun functionality to install itself on that machine.

Conficker is one of the worms which spread through this method.
