Cisco patches flaws in Internetwork Operating System

Networking industry giant Cisco has issued eight security updates for the Internetwork Operating System.

Internetwork Operating System is used in most Cisco router models.

The patches were released yesterday as part of the company’s twice-yearly IOS updates.

Cisco said that none of the bugs fixed in these updates are publicly disclosed.

Some of the bugs were reported to the company by third party security experts.

Cisco would issue the next update in September this year.
