Pingdom claims Typepad is the most reliable blog service
Website monitoring service Pingdom has revealed that as per their own research, Typepad is one of the most reliable blogging services around.
They monitored some of the most popular blogging services for a period of four months.
Typepad turned out to be more reliable compared to other services.
They monitored: Typepad, Blogger, Wordpress.com, Blogster, Blog.com, Vox, Squarespace, Windows Live Spaces and LiveJournal.
Typepad had a downtime of just 14 minutes during the monitoring period. Blogger came in second with a downtime of 20 minutes. WordPress.com matched Blogger with a similar downtime.
Vox, LiveJournal and Blog.com had the worst downtime in these services.
Shockingly, Microsoft’s Live Spaces was at fourth. This just proves that even large corporations fail in providing reliable services.
