Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 Beta comes with PHP, WordPress!
Microsoft is now offering a beta of their updated Microsoft Web Platform Installer.
Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 Beta is now available for download from the company’s website.
It comes bundled with some surprise elements such as the PHP language and some of the most popular CMS tools available today like WordPress and DotNetNuke.
This is surprising considering PHP is a rival technology to Microsoft’s own ASP.NET.
Looks like Microsoft wants to improve its image when it comes to open source technologies used online.
Still tough to believe.
