Microsoft Research Machine Translator being tested

Microsoft Research has released yet another web based service that somewhat mimics something already provided by Google.

Microsoft Research Machine Translator is capable of translating web pages from one language to another.

Something, Google Translate service already offers.

This new service is powered by Microsoft Translator AJAX API and it works with as many as 12 languages.

The company is now inviting developers to test out this new service. Developers said about this new product in a blog post: “While the technology is improving month to month, it will still take a long time before it can match human translation quality. We don’t recommend using machine translation for sensitive or highly critical information.”
