Google Chrome to get RSS support soon
One of the features missing in Chrome besides third party add-ons is the support for RSS feeds.
This is likely to be fixed soon as the developers are close to implementing the support for RSS detection.
Google programmer Finnur Thorarinsson spoke about the progress on this feature addition: “The first part of this has been implemented and checked in.”
This is however disabled as the developers are working on the second part, which will produce a page that lets people actually subscribe to the feed.
Google launched Chrome web browser last year with hopes to encourage innovations in web browsers.
They have already forced rival browser companies to improve Javascript performance in their products.
