Mozilla Fennec gets a limited beta release
Mozilla has released a beta edition of their under development mobile web browser Fennec.
This edition of the Firefox Mobile web browser is available for the Nokia N810 MID.
The developers are trying to get beta testers to check if they can properly utilize the browser with all its controls placed off-screen.
This edition of the Fennec comes loaded with TraceMonkey JavaScript engine which would also be included in the upcoming Firefox 3.5 release.
A developer involved in this project added: “On the feature front, we’ve enabled plugins so you can now watch videos on your favorite sites, and we’ve got in our first pass at improved bookmark management and support for bookmark folders.”
