Yahoo Friends on Fire now on Facebook
Internet media giant Yahoo is bringing Fire Eagle functionality to popular social networking service Facebook.
Yahoo has launched a new application named Friends on Fire which enables the users on Facebook to share their location details with their friends.
Tom Coates, with Yahoo’s technology development group wrote in a blog post about this new Facebook application: “We give you control over how much you choose to share with these different applications as well. You can choose to share your cross- street or your country, you can hide yourself from everyone and- of course-you can change your preferences at any time.”
Yahoo has also released an updated utility for Firefox web browser.
