Google Video uploads now powered with Gears technology
Google had recently stated that Google Videos would soon stop accepting video uploads.
They already own YouTube video sharing service which enables the users to upload and share videos online.
Google has for now changed the video uploading technology.
It is now powered with Gears technology.
Users get the ability to upload videos of up to 1GB in size.
Google had said about Google Videos: “We’ve always maintained that Google Video’s strength is in the search technology that makes it possible for people to search videos from across the web, regardless of where they may be hosted. And this move will enable us to focus on developing these technologies further to the benefit of searchers worldwide.”
