Gmail Labs now has filter import-export tool
If you are a heavy user of Gmail webmail service, you would be using the filters to sort out your emails.
Google has added a new tool to Gmail through Gmail Labs.
You can now import and export filters.
This can be used to backup your settings… or if you are moving your Gmail ID to another one.
In case you are comfortable editing XML files, you can use the tool to manually craft your filters without performing the tedious steps to create new ones individually.
