Cydia launches an app store for Apple iPhone!

Cydia is already popular amongst the techies who use applications which were not approved by Apple for sale on the Apple App Store.

Cydia has now opened its own mobile store for the Apple iPhone. This would make these application accessible to an ever larger audience.

Developer of the application Jay Freeman said in a statement that the store would enable the developers to sell their applications for a price.

They do not plan to charge more than what Apple charges as a commission for selling third party applications on their store.

Reports say that some other stores are also under development. One of those stores plan to sell adult games for the popular mobile device.
