Twitter starts highlighting search and trends feature
Twitter gained the much needed search functionality when they acquired Summize.
Summize is now known as Twitter Search and it is hosted on a subdomain on the Twitter service.
However, the company has not highlighted it much since they added it to the service.
Some bloggers are now reporting that the search box is being added to the top bar of the Twitter service.
The search box is accompanied with a Trends feature which displays the hot topics of that very moment.
This is not yet visible on all accounts yet. We do not see it on our own Twitter accounts.
The company has not commented on this report. This could either be going under a beta test or they might have started implementing it for all their users in a step by step process.
