Internet Explorer 8 could be released this month
Technology blog Tech ARP has claimed that Microsoft would release the final version of Internet Explorer 8 web browser this month.
The US based software giant has not set any date for the launch of the stable edition of IE8.
Internet Explorer 8 is currently available in a release candidate version and is said to be pretty stable.
The blog post claims that Microsoft will release IE8 to manufacturing the week of March 16.
It would then be offered to OEMs as an optional supplement to all Windows XP and Windows Vista installations.
Internet Explorer General Manager Dean Hachamovitch has already stated in a blog post earlier this year: “The IE8 product is effectively complete and done.”
Windows 7 would ship with Internet Explorer 8.
