Internet Explorer 8 could be un-installed on Windows 7
Sources say that Microsoft is enabling the users of Windows 7 which is currently in beta testing to remove Internet Explorer 8.
Users also get the option to remove other Windows components like games and media features from a new panel named Windows Features.
Removing the Internet Explorer 8 is unlikely to remove it completely as some of the components of the web browser are used by other applications and components.
But it does remove the application itself so the user would not be able to run it individually.
It seems like the company decided to include this ability to make peace with the European Union which has been claiming that the company has an unfair advantage when they bundle the Operating System with the IE web browser.
