Amazon Kindle for Apple iPhone with Whispersync
Amazon has released their Kindle mobile application for the Apple iPhone platform and it comes with Whispersync technology.
The application is now available for free from the Apple App Store.
Users cannot however use this application to order the books directly from the Amazon web store.
That can be done from a regular Kindle reader or the web browser.
Once the user sets up his account, all his ebooks are available on the iPhone.
It uses the Amazon Whispersync technology to remember the page where the user was on the previous time.
One sad thing about this application is that the ebooks are formatted for the Kindle which has a larger screen and uses a different display technology. So the ebooks are not really pretty on the iPhone.
