Lunascape: Hybrid Engine Web Browser
Lunascape 5 Genesis Beta was released earlier this month.
This web browser for the Windows platform is pretty unique as it comes loaded with three rendering engines… Internet Explorer’s Trident and Firefox’s Gecko along with Webkit which is used by Apple Safari and Google Chrome.
This enables the user to benefit from the features of all the three engines in a single web browser application.
They can get the compatibility of Internet Explorer on non-standard sites along with the speeds of the other two rendering engines.
Some of the features of this web browser are:
Switching between the rendering engines at will
It comes with its own crash protection mechanism
Mouse gesture support is inbuilt
Tab browser is a standard feature
The user interface can be customized using skins
