Digg working on a toolbar to take on StumbleUpon!
TechCrunch has reported that social bookmarking service Digg is working on a browser toolbar to take on StumbleUpon.
This toolbar can either be web based or a separate application.
It would have controls to Digg or Bury the webpage currently opened. It would of course also display the number of Diggs a page has received.
For new pages, it is likely to offer an easy way to submit it to Digg.com.
One of the exciting features would be the Random button which would take the user to a random listing on Digg.com related to stories dugg by the user in the past.
This functionality is the specialization of StumbleUpon and Digg might be targeting gaining away users from the competing service.
