Windows 7 beta gets an update for Internet Explorer 8
Microsoft has released an update for their Internet Explorer 8 web browser for the users of Windows 7 Beta.
The company said that this update would improve the reliability of the web browser.
Microsoft said that the update should fix the problems faced by the users when it comes to browser plugins.
The update is being delivered through the Windows Update utility.
The IE team at Microsoft said that the overall performance of IE 8 in Windows 7 Beta has been very encouraging.
The developers said in a blog post: “Most of the issues that we discovered through the Beta are fixed in the Release Candidate 1 which is now available for Windows Vista and Windows XP. We also wanted some of these fixes to reach our Windows 7 Beta users now. We decided to piggyback onto this first update for the Windows 7 Beta.”
