Google Apps users gets Google Apps Status Dashboard
Google has announced the launch of Google Apps Status Dashboard.
This panel can be checked by the users of Google Apps services to see the status of the various services offered by the company.
This became essential after Google’s Gmail webmail service went down for a couple of hours and users had no way to see if the problem was at their end or the company’s end.
Google said in a blog post that the panel can be checked to check on the current service status of individual services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Video for business.
Google added in a blog post: The Google Apps Status Dashboard represents an additional layer of transparency that we believe will be particularly useful for our business users, and it’s also relevant to users of our consumer products.
