Vmware announces Virtual Data Center Operating System
Virtualization company Vmware has announced a new product named Virtual Data Center Operating System.
Vmware said that this product would help customers create a bank of computers, storage devices, and networking equipment.
This can then be used at will as per the requirement by the company.
The company said that this suite would be launched sometime later this year.
This is the latest push by the company in the growing cloud computing segment of the market.
Microsoft, Google and Amazon.com are already present in this market.
