Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 to get an updated user interface

Microsoft has said that they are soon going to display the “modernized” look and feel for their upcoming Visual Studio 2010 software development environment release.

The company would be displaying these visual updates at the VSLive conference in San Francisco.

Microsoft said that the changes would be powered by Windows Presentation Foundation and .Net Framework 4.0 technologies.

Jason Zander, general manager of Visual Studio for the Microsoft developer division spoke about these changes: “The goal that we had with this work was to simplify the way the developer works with their projects, their source control, and things I work with everyday.”

Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1 would feature these visual changes to get the feedback from the testers around the world.
