Microsoft Recite voice search technology announced
Microsoft has showcased a new technology for their Windows Mobile platform.
This new product has been named Microsoft Recite.
It has been developed for Windows Mobile 6 and above.
The company said that the technology would allow the user to capture, search and retrieve spoken notes and reminders using voice without the need to navigate menus or type text.
It does not really converts the voice to text but instead relies on voice matching.
A free preview has been made available for some selected mobile devices.
