Skype coming to Nokia smartphones
Nokia and Skype are collaborating to bring Skype functionality to Nokia smartphones.
The deal was announced at the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
Nokia would begin offering Skype pre-installed on their phones with Nokia N97.
This phone would go on sale in June this year.
It would also be integrated in the phone’s address book for easy connectivity.
Users would also be able to use the instant messaging functionality of Skype from the phone itself.
Sony Ericsson is also going to offer Skype on their Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 smartphone.
