Mac OS X Snow Leopard might come with QuickTime Pro features
AppleInsider has reported that Apple’s upcoming Mac OS X Snow Leopard edition might feature QuickTime Pro capabilities by default.
Apple currently charges for QuickTime Pro features. It sells for $29.95.
Apple’s recent test release of Snow Leopard which is available to select few has a QuickTime version that has all the Pro features accessible.
The QuickTime system preference panel also seems to be missing the registration pane.
Apple has of course not commented on these market rumors. But, it makes little sense for them to continue charging for the Pro edition when customers have tons of free alternatives available online.
