Microsoft would release four sets of patches this coming Tuesday

US based software giant Microsoft has revealed details on the upcoming Patch Tuesday release.

The company said that they would make available four sets of patches for their applications.

These patches would be for Windows, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Exchange Server in addition to other applications.

Two of these patches are to fix critical bugs in their software products.

The critical updates affect Windows Internet Explorer 7, Windows XP Professional Edition, Windows Vista, Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2007.

Microsoft release their patches on the second Tuesday of the month. This release is popularly called Patch Tuesday.
