Jajah has a mobile app for iPod touch to make it like iPhone
Jajah has announced that they have developed a version of their service for the Apple iPod Touch.
This application would allow the users of iPod Touch to call and text using Voice-over-IP services.
This means that the iPod Touch users would get similar functionality to the Apple iPhone as long as they are in a Wi-Fi zone.
The company is not yet prepared to offer it through the Apple App Store.
Instead, they are hoping to partner with telecom carriers to offer it to users with a monthly subscription fee.
Trevor Healy, CEO of Jajah spoke about this app: “We don’t think it competes with the iPhone directly. Users of this app already have an iPod Touch and this just adds additional functionality to their existing device.”
