HP releases a UI pack for Ubuntu Linux on Netbooks
US based personal computer manufacturer HP has released a custom version of Ubuntu Linux which is designed for use on netbooks.
This version has been developed for the company’s own HP Mini 1000 Mi Edition.
It features a customized screen with different elements such as a search box, a list of user’s favorite sites, shortcuts to applications.
The company has also added a custom media player they call HP MediaStyle.
Anyone interested in checking this edition out can simply add HP repositories to their Ubuntu editions and then install the package called glassy-bleu-theme.
