IE market share drops again
Net Applications has reported that Internet Explorer continues to lose market share to rival alternative browsers in the market.
IE has now seen a drop in its market share for the seventh consecutive month.
Microsoft’s Internet Explorer web browser now has a market share of 67.55 percent.
Mozilla Firefox continues to improve its position to reach 21.53 percent.
Apple too has made significant progress with their Safari web browser which now stands at 8.29 percent.
Google Chrome is a new player in this market and it has already overtake Opera to take 1.12 percent of the market.
Opera is more of a niche player in this market and it’s share is at 0.7%.
