Adobe and Apple working on Flash technology for Apple iPhone

Adobe chief Shantanu Narayen has been quoted as saying that they are working with Apple to bring the Adobe Flash technology on the Apple iPhone platform.

This is said to be one of the major flaws in the iPhone mobile device.

Most of the web videos are in Flash. To get the users to see YouTube hosted videos, Apple collaborated with Google to launch a special application on the iPhone that can play the videos.

But this does not make the iPhone compatible with hundreds of other video sharing services.

It also is pretty useless with sites that are developed using Flash.

Narayen said: “It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating. The ball is in our court. The onus is on us to deliver.”
