Offline Gmail Experience

We finally have access to the Offline Gmail feature on one of our accounts and it does work well. One of the major advantages is that Gmail seems to work even faster.

The second generation Gmail already performs well by preloading the newly received messages and the offline feature enhances the speed even more.

We just love the ability to get access to the emails hosted on Gmail offline. Also, the ability to queue mails for sending while offline is a god send.

We used to have Gmail configured in an email client just for the emergency cases. That need is now removed.

Google has also made sure that they showcase enough data on what is being done during the syncing process.

We believe that this feature now has made Gmail even more powerful and it is light years ahead of the competition.
