IE8 Release Candidate 1 coming up later today?
Market sources say that Microsoft is going to release the first RC edition of Internet Explorer 8 today.
The company has already launched two beta editions of IE8 and the response has been pretty positive.
This version is likely to be for the users of Windows XP and Windows Vista.
No update is likely to be released for users of Windows 7.
Microsoft had originally planned to release the final version of IE8 last year but it was delayed.

Hi, my name’s Feran and I’m working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team. Microsoft did release the Internet Explorer 8 RC1 earlier today. This site provides a good overview of all the new features, as well as answers for many frequently asked questions that users have. The IE8 RC1 can be downloaded here as well: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/beta/worldwide-sites.aspx
Thanks,
Feran
