More than 800 applications on Google Android Market

Google has revealed that they are more than 800 applications available for download on their Android Marketplace.

This is a tiny number when compared to more than 15000 applications which are now available on the Apple App Store.

Google seems to be struggling with developers as they are yet to provide them a way to sell applications on the Android store.

The search engine giant had said that a payment mode would be offered sometime this year.

Apple has gained a lot with the App Store. Developers gets paid for their applications. Though the company keeps a 30% share of the money.

Google has a better deal for developers here. They are not going to keep any share of the payments on the Android store.
