Google Blog Converters platform launched
Search engine giant Google has launched a new innovative platform named Google Blog Converters.
This service is hosted on the Google Code platform.
It is designed to enable the user to move his blog from one blogging platform to another.
The service supports the popular blogging platforms including LiveJournal, MovableType, WordPress, and Google’s own Blogger.
They have for now made available a collection of libraries and scripts which are written in the Python language.
The company said that the scripts could be used to make applications on their Google App Engine to make it easier for new users to convert their blog formats.
Google said that the future editions of this platform will support the BlogML data format.
