Windows 7 beta available now. Again.
Microsoft has resumed the delivery of Windows 7 beta. The software was to be made available on Friday but the company faced problems with the reliability of the servers so they halted the delivery.
The company said in a message on the website: “The Windows 7 Beta is now available for download. Thanks for your interest and help with the beta.”
Microsoft has these specifications for the beta edition of Windows 7:
1GHz processor (either 32-bit or 64-bit),
1GB of system memory,
16Gb of disk space,
support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB memory,
DVD burner and Internet access.
It remains to be seen how soon the company can prepare Windows 7 for the launch.
