Skype working on an Apple iPhone edition
VoIP service provider Skype has just announced Skype Lite for the Google Android mobile platform.
The company has said that they are also working on an iPhone edition of Skype which should be out soon.
Skype said that their engineers are working on cutting the amount of power the application consumes before they can launch it on the Apple iPhone device.
Apple is very choosy in approving applications that go on their Apple App Store. Users access this store to download the apps for iPhones and iPod Touch devices.
Skype claims that more than 370 million people have signed up for Skype and they are still adding about 30 million new users every quarter.
