Microsoft unveils Windows 7 beta

Microsoft has finally released Windows 7 beta officially.

It is now available to MSDN, TechNet and TechBeta subscribers.

Other people would get access to it later today.

Windows 7 is the next update to Windows operating system and it would replace Windows Vista as the primary OS offering from the company.

Microsoft has not stated an official launch date for Windows 7 but analysts believe that it should be out before the start of the holiday season this year.

Microprocessor CEO Steve Ballmer spoke at the launch of Windows 7 Beta: “Windows has become the language that over a billion people speak at every country and culture around the world. I believe Windows will remain at the center of people’s technology solar system. We are putting in all the right ingredients — simplicity, reliability and speed — and working hard to get it right and get it ready.”

As usual, Microsoft claims that Windows 7 would be their best Windows release ever.
