Windows 7 Upgrade Program information revealed
Ars Technica has an article talking about the Windows 7 Upgrade Program.
This new program which is expected to be announced in the coming months would allow owners of new PCs to get access to Windows 7 when it is launched.
Microsoft is expected to launch Windows 7 sometime later this year or early next year.
The reports in the market talks about three upgrade scenarios for Vista to Windows 7:
Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium,
Vista Business to Windows 7 Professional,
Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate
The reports in the media also state that the program is expected to begin from July this year.
There are likely to be some restrictions and some manufacturers might alter the scheme for their customers.
