Skype 2.8 beta released for Apple Mac
The developers behind the popular VoIP application Skype have released a new beta for the users of Apple Macs.
Skype 2.8 beta is now out and available for download.
Skype 2.8 beta comes loaded with two new feature updates:
Users can now use their Skype credit to pay for Boingo Wi-Fi hotspots on a minute-by-minute basis. This would help them reduce the money spent on communicating while on the move.
Skype also now allows Mac users to do screen sharing with each other. This feature is cross platform! However this does not allow Mac users to see the screens of users of other operating systems. Windows and Linux users can see the screens of Mac users.
