Google Picasa now for Apple Mac OS X

Google has finally released a version of their Picasa application for the Apple Mac platform.

Google Picasa for Mac is currently in public testing stage and it comes with some features disabled.

But it is a good start as Google aims to provide an alternative to Apple iPhoto on the Mac OS X platform.

Picasa has been available for Windows and Linux platforms since quite sometime.

Google Picasa showcases the images and photos present on a computer without the need to import them into the application.

It searches and adds the images from folders selected by the user. It features abilities to conduct modifications on the photos. Users also get the option to quickly upload them photos to Google Picasa Web or email them to their friends or relatives.
