Twitter latest victim of phishing attacks
Online sources are pointing to Phishing attacks which are being conducted on Twitter users.
Users are sent messages pointing to fake Twitter pages where they are lured to login with their details.
This data is then stolen by the people behind this phishing attack. It is also capable of stealing Facebook Ids.
This new attack is pretty serious as Twitter.com has officially posted a warning on their homepage alerting the user to not put in their login details on fake pages which looks like an official version of the site.
Hackers might be trying to collect Twitter details hoping that some users would be using same details on other web services.
