Apple working on an online edition of iWork?
More rumors are coming out related to Apple and their upcoming product announcements.
Market sources say that the company is working on an online edition of their iWork suite which features a word processor, a spreadsheet and a presentation application.
Google and Zoho already have a presence in this segment of the market. Microsoft is also working on an online edition of MS Office suite.
One of the reasons why Apple could be doing this is to bring these applications to their iPhone and iPod Touch platform.
This rumored web application suite could also make use of Safari’s new Offline DB/SproutCore framework functionality.
