uTorrent has more than 28 million monthly users!
TorrentFreak is reporting that the popular free bittorrent application uTorrent has more than 28 Million Monthly Users.
This tiny application was first released three years ago. It has seen many updated versions till now.
The developers have even made available an Apple Mac edition.
TorrentFreak quotes Simon Morris, BitTorrent’s VP of Product Management:“Client check-ins have continued to grow steadily in the course of 2008. Clearly the ongoing demand for our freeware seems to be quite strong.”
Morris added that every month, 28 million unique clients are actively used.
