Mozilla Fennec alpha 2 now out

Mozilla has released the second alpha release of their under development mobile browser Fennec.

Mozilla Fennec would become a challenger to Opera Mobile, Internet Explorer Mobile and Apple Safari Mobile when it is released in a stable version.

Mozilla said that the second alpha release comes loaded with performance and stability enhancements.

Mozilla developer Stuart Parmenter spoke about this release in a blog post: “While we focused much of the previous alpha on getting the user experience how we wanted, we’ve spent much of the time since focused on improving performance. We’ve made major strides improving startup performance, panning and zooming performance, and responsiveness while pages are loading.”
