Moblin Enabling Center opens in Taipei

Moblin mobile operating system has received a tremendous boost with the opening of the Moblin Enabling Center in Taipei on Tuesday.

This center would concentrate on developing mobile computing devices powered with this Linux based mobile platform.

Taiwan based hardware companies would use this center as the testing ground for their mobile products powered by Moblin.

Intel is one of the major forces behind this mobile platform which would compete against Google Android and other Linux based mobile OS.

Intel is primarily interested in this platform to power devices based on their Intel Atom processor.
