Hewlett Packard launches iPrint Photo for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch

US based personal computer maker Hewlett Packard has announced the launch of a new application on the Apple App Store.

This application enables the users of iPhone and iPod Touch to print photos wirelessly on compatible printers.

The company said that the feature works with most HP-networked ink jet printers connected to a local Wi-Fi network.

Users can take prints of 4 x 6-inch photos using this application.

HP added that this application is fully compatible with Apple’s Bonjour technology and uses the Multi-Touch interface.

It is also compatible with industry standard Wi-Fi environments including hardware from Apple, Linksys, D-Link and Netgear.
