Red Hat launches Extended Update Support for customers
Linux company Red Hat has announced the launch of a new service plan for their customers.
This new plan is named Extended Update Support.
It is aimed at the RHEL customers.
The company said that this plan allows their customers to run and maintain one version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux for a longer period of time.
This helps them reduce the expenditure on management and administration.
Gerry Riveros, product marketing manager for EUS spoke about this new service plan: “There are a set of customers who would like to be able to run RHEL as long as possible without re-evaluation.”
This plan would also help out companies who are cutting costs in these troubling times.
