Intel releases a pre-production Windows 7 drivers for graphics chipsets

Microsoft Windows 7 might not have a launch date yet but Intel is already working on the proper drivers for this upcoming new OS from the software giant.

The company has now made available pre-production version of Windows 7 drivers for graphics chipsets.

Intel said in a statement that these drivers are designed to enable the full Windows 7 experience for the users.

Intel added that they are working on these drivers in collaboration with Microsoft.

Market analysts believe that Microsoft would launch Windows 7 by the end of next year or in early 2010.

So, its time that hardware manufacturers around the world start preparing to make compatible drivers for their products available in the market today.

Microsoft had advised the hardware manufacturers to start working on these drivers as soon as the first beta version becomes available.

The company faced a lot of issues when they launched Vista. A lot of hardware companies were not ready with final drivers and customers suffered as a result in the end.

Vista still gets bad PR for these issues and Microsoft wants to avoid the same issues with Windows 7.
