Microsoft: Internet Explorer to get an emergency patch
Microsoft has said that they would issue an emergency patch for the critical flaw that was recently discovered in their Internet Explorer web browser.
The flaw enabled hackers to hijack the browser and take control of the victim’s computer.
The company said that they decided to immediately mobilized security engineering teams worldwide to create a patch for this problem.
Microsoft usually issues patches on the second Tuesday of the month. The recently released Patch Tuesday did not include the patch for the IE web browser.
Trend Micro advanced threat researcher Paul Ferguson spoke about this upcoming patch: “When the patch is released people should run, not walk, to get it installed. This vulnerability is being actively exploited by cyber-criminals and getting worse every day.”
