Hasbro drops lawsuit against Jayant and Rajat Agarwalla
Scrabulous developers can now have some peace. Hasbro has announced that they are dropping their lawsuit against the India based developers Jayant and Rajat Agarwalla.
Jayant and Rajat Agarwalla had developed a version of Scrabble named Scrabulous.
Hasbro owns the rights to this game in the US market and they filed a lawsuit against them.
RJ Softwares was the company behind the Scrabulous game on Facebook social network.
They have now said that they would not be using the term “Scrabulous” in any of their products.
They have also made significant changes to the game which is now online with another name Wordscraper on the Facebook network.
It said: “The agreement provides people in the U.S. and Canada with a choice of different games and also avoids potentially lengthy and costly litigations.”
