OpenZone has announced that they are developing PlusOffice Mac productivity suite for the Apple Mac platform.
They aim to launch this software package sometime next month for the Intel powered apple macs.
The developers said that the suite would be an open source offering and it would share code with OpenOffice.org.
It would come powered with similar applications notably Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Base and Math.
They are including full support for Open Document Format Version 1.2 in this release. This suite would also support Microsoft Office Open XML file formats.
